Tung Kang wants to marry Wen-ching to Wei-nah so as to stop the investigation. Wei-nan is not moved. Knowing what her father has done, Wei-thing asks Wei-nan to spare Tung Kang. Wei-nan is in dilemma.
Feeling that Hsueh-yen loves Wei-nan, Tung Kang stops to tell her things of importance. Tung Kang plots against Wei-chi so as to force Wei-nan to give him back the documents. Without knowing anything of it, Wei-chi, who kills a man, is under arrest. Wen-hui worries about Wei-chi for she is now pregnant.
For the sake of his brother, Wei-nan agrees to give him back the documents when .Wei-chi runs away. Having noticed what it is, Wei-chi, who goes to settle it with Tang Kang, is killed. Wen-hui has a miscarriage.
