Luk and the others change disguise and set off to look for Tu Qing-tian. They are misunderstood to be members of the Devil Clan and are sneered by the people.
Hsimen Chui-hsueh and Shou-ching are getting near Tien Shan b0t they have spent all money. Hsimen is forced to pawn clothing and later his sword even. The couple becomes more desperate and are teased by the rascals. Hsimen's friend Bai Shao-tang learns about his trouble and gives him money for the trip.
Luk and his group reaches a town and discover that it is within the control of the Devil Clan and later manage to find out Tu Qing-tian's whereabouts. Kung Sun Lan captures Tu and wants to make use of him to draw the Elders Sun and Moon.
The Hsimen couple stays at Ah Bu's home and with his help Hsimen goes to Tien Shan. Hsimen looks for the Thousand Year Ginseng but falls off the cliff.
