He gives her some water, mixed with charm ashes, a formula which the Taoist believes can drive out evil spirits, to drink. CHUN sees this and decides to treat the empress in secret. The empress has been cured. HIN tells YUNG he loves her. In order not to give him a false hope, YUNG decides not to learn drawing from WU anymore……
