Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that untoward incidents in Jhansi have increased from the time Marshall has assumed office. Laxmibai goes to Sakhubai and Jankibai to warn them that if they ever think of harming Gangadhar again, then she would kill them. Aaishri overhears.
