The young KAM YUK is sold to the brothel by her relatives following the deaths of her parents. LUK KWAI, boss of Luk Hing Lung Soy Sauce Plant, takes pity of YUK and redeems her. YUK has since worked as a maid at the LUK household, taking care of KWAI’s motherless son LUK MAN DULL. Impressed by YUK’s meticulous care and assured of her compatible horoscope with DULL, DULL’s grandmother SO FA decides to take YUK as her grandson’s child bride. CHIN’s hope revives when rich man’s son CHOW KWOK TUNG brings up proposal of marriage to KWAI……
