BEI manages to flee out of Xinye, which infuriates TSO no end. As arranged by KEI, BEI and his people begin to settle down in Jiangxia, which is nothing more than a barren land in FEI’s eyes. BEI blames himself for bringing his people to Jiangxia and causing them so much suffering. LEUNG suggests naming their new settlement “Xinye Village” so as to foster a sense of belonging among their fellow countrymen. Lady CHOI has unveiled her political ambition, which has evoked jealousy in TSO and causes him to kill her later on.
